Thursday

Today it is snowing.  I can't find my snowboard because I let Tommy use it the day we got a foot of snow.  I hope I will find it soon though.  (I really want to go off our giant ramp with it.)

Wednesday

Today it is nine days until Christmas.  Yesterday I made my snow house a lot bigger.  It can now fit all four of us, but it's a little tight.  I also build up a small tunnel around the entrance to block the wind.  And it is actually not that cold(but a little damp.)

Thursday

Yesterday we made a snow fort.  It has two houses and a few bunkers.  One of the houses is big enough for me and harry to fit in comfortably.  Once we are done with our schoolwork,we are going to go outside.

This morning I was really tired (duh).  But more tired than usual.  I'm still sleepy.  Later I am hoping to go sledding.  On our homepage we have a countdown to 8:00 on Christmas morning.  Right now we have exactly 16 days,21 hours,39 minuets, and 5 seconds.

Tuesday

Today my mom and Nicole are going to Yakima.  Yesterday I downloaded the Apollo moon lander for the flight    
 simulator.  Harry looked at the weather and he says it is going to snow tonight.  On our sledding hill I can now stand up on my ''snowboard'' all the way down the hill.  Tommy can make it about halfway down.  I have also collected about twenty icicles.

I really wish today was Christmas.  Because I really like Christmas and I really don't like Mondays.  There is a new psp game coming out that I want to get called Split second.  It is a racing game.  I would appreciate it if everybody reading this donated me ten dollars.   =)

FRIDAY

Today it is really foggy again.  up near the windows on our roof their are icicles that must be at least three or four feet long.  We watched an episode of star trek Enterprise last night, but it was skipping really badly for some reason.  Really annoying.  Tomorrow night we are going to our cousins house for a late Thanksgiving dinner.  (With ham instead of turkey) =) Turkey sucks compared to ham.  And the airplane pictures are photo shopped grandma.  The snowman is doing fine.

Today it is really foggy.  Harry is playing the piano and distracting me from my schoolwork.  The snow has gotten deeper and we are going to go sledding after our schoolwork is done.  I also just had to fix something on my blog.  Someone set it to Chinese so I had to change it back to English.  Or learn Chinese.

Yesterday it snowed alot.  At least two inches.  Once I finish my schoolwork, I am going to go sledding, and tonight I am going to play the flight simulator.  For the flight simulator, I recently downloaded the c-17 cargo plane, the Antonov 500, and the Boeing 950.

Tuesday

Today, when I woke up, it was snowing.  And not just tiny little flakes either, they were huge snowflakes at least an inch across.  Grandma Sharon is really missing out.  I have a really good idea for what to get harry for Christmas, but I can't post it because he will read this and figure out what it is.  Yesterday we had to repair the fencing for our garden because the cows pulled it down.  We would set it up and they would just walk right through it and we would have to start over again.

Last Thursday we had our grandparents and some other people that they rounded up over for thanksgiving.  We are all looking forward to Christmas and Tommy's birthday.  i will probably be adding more later.

Today there is about 2 inches of snow on the ground.  Maybe one and a half.  Tommy and George really want to go sledding very badly.  I have also been playing flight simulator x and learning how to download new planes(very fun.)  Some of them ,(like the space shuttle,) aren't working very well.  I can fly it but I cant see it=(  but I did download a b2 bomber.  Witch is alot of fut to fly.  I also want to download a f/a 18 fighter jet that actually fires its machine guns.  (not gonna get my hopes up though because the b2 was supposed to drop a nuclear bomb,but it doesn't.)  I also want to get a membership to the website so i can download faster.

FRIDAY

Today I had to write one page about something of my choice.  I chose flight simulators because they are fun and interesting to write about.  It actually turned out to be more like a page and a quarter.  Tonight there is no movie night because there is a moms night instead.  And I cannot go for obvious reasons.  Tomorrow night we are hoping to have our friend Ethan over for a sleepover(it hasn't worked in the last 2 months.)

Today was laundry day.  The worst chore we have to do.  Tomorrow we might be going with the Gordon's to the valley view gym.  Yesterday we got Microsoft flight simulator x.  It is a lot of fun and I get to play multi player online ,and the graphics are really great.  Today I built a steamboat from my science kit.  I will be posting pictures of it today or tomorrow.

Today is Wednesday and it took me forever to sign in to the GMail account.  but I finally figured out that caps lock was on.  Today was room cleaning day and we finished them (my room is very clean.)  Today for social studies I read about the first settler in Ellensburg.  His name was William bud and he built a log cabin here in 1886.  On November 11 1889 Washington became a state.

Today is monday and it was bathroom cleaning day.  Yesterday we downloaded something to our flight simulator that allows us to edit the planes. It is alot of fun.

Today is Friday and tonight is movie night.  Yesterday day we got a canoe from Yakima and we are going to use it next spring.  Tomorrow is Saturday and I am looking forward to doing nothing.  Yes grandma. we are getting ready for next summer.

Today we went to Yakima around 8:00 to get a canoe.  It is sixteen feet long and pretty heavy.  But it looks really nice and we got it for two hundred dollars.  On Tuesday it was snowing in town and it was really foggy and cold today.

Today is Wednesday and it was room cleaning day, but we already finished that :)   Tomorrow is Thursday and I don't know what we are doing accept that it is laundry day.

Today is Tuesday and yesterday we wrote letters to our grandparents as a school project.  today we are going to meet Tom Grahm at the coffee shop.  Tomorrow We have home school group to go to somewhere.  On Friday we are hopefully going to go to movie night.

Today is Monday.:( and yesterday we had our cousins over for dinner.  Today was bathroom cleaning day but we already finished it.  Tomorrow Tom is coming to town.  On Wednesday   We might have homeschool group to go to.

Today is Friday and it is downstairs cleaning day,but we already got that finished.  Tonight we will either go to movie night or to the valley view gym with the Gordon's.  Tomorrow is saturday and I look forward to sleeping in.

Today is Wednesday and I have to blog about something in the newspaper.  Yakima herald Sunday,October 31 2010.  The article is called after dark at the corn maze.  There is a nine acre corn maze at Schells produce in union gap.  The daytime is just like any other corn maze,but at night it is all about the haunting.  The corn maze is constructed by ten people.  Every year it gets larger and scarier,and each year it has a theme.  This years theme is snoopy and the great pumpkin. Every year there are thousands of visitors,and about 300 kids a day.  At night,haunters,like the chainsaw man,carrying a chainsaw and ready to jump out and chase someone at any moment.  65 people work at the maze including 30 haunters.  Twenty two of them are teenagers.  The haunters are provided with scary costumes unless they have a specific one that they want to wear.

Today is tuesday and we finished most of our work yesterday so I get to start early on my schoolwork.  Tommorow is wednesday(duh)and I think I have a homeshool group to go to at three.

Today I have to write another story.  Me and Tommy are making this story together.  One day George the monkey did a bad thing and he didn't like any body, not even the marshes.  And then he lust like did and he stealed some food from people like bananas and apples.  And he stealed all the food in the world.  He put them in the volcano and no one knows where that volcano is.  And then George just did like took everybodys money away quarters dimes and Penny's then he put them all into the volcano.   Then George the monkey made a very giant stink as big as the whole world.  Then we caught George the monkey in a cage.  But he had a very huge hammer that he used to break out of the cage and then he hid in the volcano.  And then he smashes all the computers in the whole world.


    Now George jumped in the volcano and he had a hose and washed all the fire. Or lava.  And then he destroyed all the cars in the whole world.  And when we have food he smashes it and the plates.  And then he smashed all the chairs in the whole world so people couldn't sit down.  Then he jumps up on top of a very tall tree.  So all of him him he like just smashes stuff.  He learned how to write his name and it was just scribbles. If we have a map he just tears it apart.  And then george the very stinky monkey got a car.  And he drove to fred meyer and crashed into it.  And then he got a jet and he drops bombs on all the stores in the whole world.  And he flies onto the moon and he found some ailiens but he doesn't have anything to shoot them.


      When he got back to earth he did some bad stuff and just like burned some ailiens.

Yesterday was Halloween,but we went trick-or-treating the day before.  I went as a karate guy and so did harry.Tommy went as scary bear , George went as a frontiersman and Mikey went as a cow(very cute!)  I will see if I can add some pictures later today.

Today is Friday and there is no movie night  tonight because there is a moms night instead.  I haven't posted any pictures of our pumpkins yet because I haven't managed to get a hold of the camera,but I will probably have them on here by the end of today.  looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.

Today was laundry day:(we finished that and now we are doing our schoolwork.  later today we are going to carve our pumpkins and I will be posting some pictures of that later.

Today was room cleaning day and I already finished.  Later today we have A thing to go to at mountain view park.  Yesterday we got a new nunchuck for our wii and today we are going to use it to play multiplayer once we have finished our schoolwork.

Today there is no chore because it is usually lawn mowing day.  So I get to go straight to my school work and get that finished early.  After that I am going to clean up the downstairs so I can play the wii.

Today is bathroom cleaning day,but we already finished them.  Lawn mowing season is over so I'm not sure what we are going to do tomorrow.  Wednesday is some kind of Halloween party at mountain view park for our home school group.  Yesterday we got our pumpkins and we might carve them today.

Today is downstairs cleaning day:(and we have to steam mop the floor). I don't think we are going to movie night tonight.  Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning.

Thursday

Today I have been assigned to write a story.  About a week ago we got a kitten named Mr scratches.  Since then he has been really cute and cuddly (and scratchy)and he is usually allowed inside as long as somebody is with him.  We have five cats,mouser,Joe,Felix,choncho(pig,and it's true),and the new one,Mr scratches.  They all live outside because we don't want them to pee on our clothes.  Well,they must have gotten tired of living outside because one morning I woke up in the hay shelter where the cats usually sleep,and it was really cold.

       So I got up and went to the front door,but it was locked.  So I looked in the window but all I saw was a bunch of opened cans of tuna on the floor.And our dog ruby licking it up.  I checked the side door and I checked the backdoor.  But they were both locked.  So I got one of the ladders from next to the shop and Set it up next to Harry's bedroom window(it doesn't have a screen.)  I managed to open it up and crawl inside without falling. I immediately noticed a strange vibration going through the house and it was very hot beacause someone must have turned the heater on.  I silently crept downstairs and into the kitchen,where I saw all five cats purring and licking tuna off the floor.  Of course once I got inside they couldn't stop me from putting them all back outside.  Mr scratches tried to give me a cute look to get out of it,but it didn't work,only almost.  Once they were all back outside,I got the floor cleaned up and threw away all the tuna cans.  And that night I locked the doors.  And windows.

Yesterday we blew out the sprinkler lines(we had about twenty lawns to do)and I earned eighteen dollars(three dollars an hour for six hours.  Today is laundry day(already done:),and we have our regular schoolwork to do.  Tomorrow is Friday and I'm not sure if we are going to movie night or not.

Yesterday my grandma came out for a visit from Vancouver and gave me a new wii game for a birthday present.    Tomorrow we are going to blow out our rental houses sprinkler lines.  Today was room cleaning day and we had to clean out our dresser drawers:(

Today I have to blog about something in my readers digest.  It is called 50 secrets your pilot won't tell you.
  One pilot said that he was constantly under pressure to carry less fuel than he is comfortable with .  "sometimes if you carry just enough fuel and you hit thunder storms or delays then suddenly you are running out of gas and have to go to an alternate airport.  Another pilot say "sometimes they won't even give us lunch breaks or even time to eat . we have to delay flights just so we can get food."

Today me and Tommy got our chore done really quickly so we could do our schoolwork and play the wii early (harry and George are going really slow.)  Tonight Tommy and George have kids club (every Thursday they go to kids club at the church.)  this weekend we have harvest festival to go to at suncadia.  Next Monday my grandma is coming from Vancouver to visit.

Today we were going to go blow out our sprinklers at our rental houses,but we  reserved the air compressor for the wrong day (next week instead of this week.)  Today I also got my hair cut.  Yesterday we got a new game for our wii called star wars the force unleashed.

Today I have to blog about something in the news paper.  Seattle times ,Sunday October 3,2010.   Bombardier is building a challenger to Boeing's 737.  In Belfast ,northern Ireland ,they are building the carbon fiber composite wings for the new c-series jet .  It a single isle ,two engine plane that is 124 feet long ,has a wingspan of 115 feet ,can hold 145 passengers ,and has a range of 3,395 miles.

Today we were going to go lawn mowing ,but its probably going to be too cold.  Tomorrow we have some kind of field trip that we might be going to ,but I can't remember where it is.  I am building a glider from my science kit ,and it is turning out to be alot bigger than I thought it was going to be.

Yesterday we canned apples,and we got an apple peeler so I didn't get my hands all sliced up(it peels ,slices ,and cores the apples all at once.)  We also made plum jam and canned plums.  This  weekend I made myself a suit of armor out of cardboard and I sword fight with my brothers.  Tomorrow we are going lawn mowing,and the Monday after next Monday my grandma is coming out to visit.

Today we went to the salmon hatchery in Salmon la sac. The salmon swim all the way up from the ocean(sometimes the get a truck ride if there is no way for them to get here). We saw a bunch of dead fish floating downriver ,and harry even poked one with his stick.  After that we went up to a lake (I can't remember what it was called.)  Then we went to get some apples to make applesauce ,apple butter ,and apple pie filling.

Today we are going hiking and tomorrow we are going lawn mowing.  Today I have been assigned to blog about something in the newspaper.  I am going to write about the windmill.

From the September 25, 2010 Daily Record I read "Opinions differ widely" about Kittitas valley wind farms.

Some people are happy about the windmills and some people aren't.  One lady named Joan Neslund says that she is a fan of the windmills.  She says that they send a positive message to people coming through Ellensburg . She says "People see the wind farms, the green parks, and the solar project and must think Ellensburg is a great place."   Another lady named Teri Bentz doesn't like the windmills at all. She lives north of Ellensburg. Though she can see them driving to and from her house, she can't see the windmills from her house.  She says that there must have been a better place to put them, and she also says that she gets angry when she sees them (a little whiny if you ask me.)

I am studying about early Ellensburg.  A century ago coal was the main energy source in Ellensburg.  Coal was dirty, it polluted the atmosphere, it was dangerous to get, it wasn't nearly as efficient as a windmill.  The windmills show how far we have come from using coal for everything.

Today we(me and harry)had to clean our bathrooms and get up at six thirty:(  Yesterday we had some really strange weather,it rained really hard for about fifteen minuets(hard enough to fill our driveway up with water and turn it into a giant mud puddle )  and then it stopped and got sunny again,but we still had thunder and lightning for the next hour.Tomorrow we are going lawn mowing,and we are hoping to play the wii some today.

       Last Saturday we canned pears,we had to peel them,(I sliced up my fingers in the process)cut them in half, take out the cores,boil them ,put them in a jar, and then boil the jars in a big pot.  After that , we got three big shelves for food storage.
                                                                                                                 

Yesterday we went to Yakima and finally got a wii.Tonight we have movie night ,and tomorrow is Saturday.We are going to go to the harvest festival at suncadia ( it has a bounce house and a fake bull and a wagon pulled by horses.)  For the wii ,we got wii sports,wii sports resort,and we got a ace combat game that is very similar to my psp game.

Yesterday I went lawn mowing, and I earned twelve dollars (three dollars an hour for four hours.)  We almost have enough to get a wii.  Today I have to clean my room, and I have a dentists appointment this afternoon.  On my new psp game I have unlocked four new planes ,the F-22, the ZERO,the A-10 warthog, and the MIG 31.  I have about half of the planes (there are forty.)

Tonight I have a dentists appointment to go to,and tomorrow we are going lawn mowing.We want to get a wii and we have almost two hundred dollars in savings.We need about two hundred and twenty.

Last week I got a new psp game in the mail that I ordered two weeks ago and it was coming from Seattle.  The game is called ace combat joint assault.It just came out on the 31st. In it I get to fly jets around and I think I'm about a quarter of the way through.:)

Today I went to MOPS(mothers of preschoolers) to help out with watching kids.  After that we went to MCdonalds for lunch.  After that we came home and I wrote this.  Tonight we have movie night to go to.

Hi I'm David.  I'm fourteen and I am in ninth grade.  On this blog I will talk about assignments I have to do or have done and whatever else I've done in the past week.  Today one of my assignments  is to write something on my blog.  Tonight we have a homeschool group potluck to go to,and tomorrow night we have movie night at a freind's house.

Last Saturday we were in the parade for MOPS.
  About a week ago we went grouse hunting at quartz Mountain.  Two weeks ago we went to the moses' lake water park.  Yesterday we went lawn mowing.(every tuesday we mow the lawns at our rental houses)  last monday we went hiking at umtanum falls.  We ran into a rattle snake (no one was bitten) and I found fresh water clams in the yakima river.
