Today is Wednesday and I have to blog about something in the newspaper.  Yakima herald Sunday,October 31 2010.  The article is called after dark at the corn maze.  There is a nine acre corn maze at Schells produce in union gap.  The daytime is just like any other corn maze,but at night it is all about the haunting.  The corn maze is constructed by ten people.  Every year it gets larger and scarier,and each year it has a theme.  This years theme is snoopy and the great pumpkin. Every year there are thousands of visitors,and about 300 kids a day.  At night,haunters,like the chainsaw man,carrying a chainsaw and ready to jump out and chase someone at any moment.  65 people work at the maze including 30 haunters.  Twenty two of them are teenagers.  The haunters are provided with scary costumes unless they have a specific one that they want to wear.
